The Gush Dan region is at the very epicenter of Israel’s commercial and entertainment activities.
Tel Aviv is the biggest city in the area, with boundaries to the region generally said to start at Herzilya to the north, Petach Tikva to the east, and Rishon Letzion to the south.

For those seeking an action –packed vacation, this region is a perfect choice.

From shopping to art, culture, history and pristine beaches, notwithstanding top quality restaurants and lively bars – there’s enough to keep visitors busy for several vacations.

Naturally no holiday in the Gush Dan region could leave out Tel Aviv, and a tour of the famous White City is highly recommended.

This UNESCO designated area features the highest concentration of Bauhaus style buildings in the world, an architecture admired for its symmetry and functionality.

The Bauhaus architecture flourished in the 1920’s and 30’s, and took place mainly to the south of the city.

Rothschild Boulevard features some particularly Important including Dizengoff House, buildings which are nowadays the premises of investment banks and other successful enterprises signals trading.

A tour will also take in Ehad hh’m and Lilinblum streets where visitors can view more stylish and refurbished buildings constructed in Deco style. Neve Tzedek is another Tel Aviv neighborhood which features beautiful reconstructed buildings, and it’s possible to book a stay in one of these traditional houses, since quite a number have been turned into fashionable hotels.

The Bauhaus Center organizes regular architectural tours of the city, while the Bauhaus Museum will tell you more about these fascinating buildings.
